Marco Polo and Annie Sullivan

Welcome
We are Cats Haven, one of Indianapolis' oldest no-kill cat shelters. We were founded 20 years ago as a refuge for special-needs cats and kittens, and senior cats who had outlived their owners. The shelter now houses nearly 200 cats, many of whom are available for adoption. Please take a look at the pictures and bios on this site, and see if your new best friend is waiting for you. Also take a look at our latest newsletter, calendar of events, Raspberry's Blog, and other postings.

We hope you enjoy browsing our site. And if you find a kitty that interests you, contact us at 317-925-7001.

Check out our Resources page for our YouTube links!!

Click here to check out our Cafe Press store! The 2009 Cats Haven calendar is available now, and so is Raspberry's personal line of designer wear! Just in time for the holidays!!!

Be sure to read Raspberry's Blog to find out how his "$100 in 100 Hours" fund raiser turned out, and learn who he's picked to replace Miranda as his new assistant!!!

At this time, Cats Haven is full to capacity and is not able to house any more cats/kittens. If you have a kitty that you need to rehome, call the shelter at 317-925-7001 and then press #2 for ideas and suggestions. Sadly, there is usually no immediate solution to rehoming an animal, but these ideas and suggestions do work. At this point, your only other option is Indianapolis Animal Care and Control on South Harding Street. If you have found an injured cat, please get the animal to a vet as soon as possible.

Thank you KJ and Smiley from WZPL 99.5 for all your support! You guys are the best! Be sure to listen for KJ's Strays and hear all the latest news from Cats Haven!
