Welcome!!
We are Cats Haven, Indianapolis' oldest no-kill cat shelters. We were founded 20 years ago as a sanctuary for special-needs cats and kittens, and senior cats who had outlived their owners. The shelter now houses nearly 200 cats, many of whom are available for adoption. Please take a look at the pictures and bios on this site, and see if your new best friend is waiting for you. Also take a look at our latest newsletter, calendar of events, Bandit's Blog, and other postings.

We hope you enjoy browsing our site. And if you find a kitty that interests you, contact us at 317-925-7001.

Make a donation today to Cats Haven! All donations are tax deductible, and every penny goes to help the kitties in the shelter and in foster homes!

Watch for more upcoming events!

At this time, Cats Haven is full to capacity and is not able to house any more cats/kittens. If you have a kitty that you need to rehome, call the shelter at 317-925-7001 and then press #2 for ideas and suggestions. Sadly, there is usually no immediate solution to rehoming an animal, but these ideas and suggestions do work. Your other options are Indianapolis Animal Care and Control, or the Humane Society of Indianapolis. If you have found an injured animal, please get the animal to a vet as soon as possible, or call Indianapolis Animal Care and Control. After normal business hours, call IMPD's nonemergency line.
